Notice

While Skylarks was not affected by Tier 2, 3 or 4 restrictions and continued to operate from the Crossway Centre in a Covid-compliant manner, we have unfortunately had to close from January 2021. We continue to offer a wide range of services online and are working to introduce more virtual activities. We will re-open for face-to-face services as soon as it is safe to do so.

Our Services

At Skylarks we have expanded from first providing inclusive nursery sessions over 15 years ago, to offering a wide range of therapies, activities and services for children with additional needs, their parents / carers, and their siblings.

These include services such as;

Services for Children;

Play groups, hydrotherapy, counselling, music therapy, inclusive after school activities like drama and karate, holiday trips and more

Services for Parent / Carers;

Free advice for Special Educational Needs (SEN), a multitude of support groups from the likes of National Autistic Society, Phyz, Girls Connect, benefit advice clinics and workshops for parents, often bringing in experts in their field such as IPSEA, and local therapists.

Services of Siblings;

Horse riding, yoga, drama, and holiday activities.

You can access our any of our services for free by Registering Online and booking onto our online or face to face sessions via the What We Do page. You can view our calendar of events by visiting our What's On page.

Skylarks independence as a charity means we are able to develop our programme in line with the needs of our families; something that has always been and remains important to us. We do not apply for or receive any statutory funding from government or local authorities. Our services are free to all, but we welcome any donations to help us continue to provide this valuable service if wish to Donate
