If you are looking to book an appointment in relation to an enquiry already in progress with the SEND Advice Service (an 'open' case visible when you log on to the skylarks website and click on 'My SEND Advice cases' in the top right corner), please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will endeavour to book an appointment with you as soon as possible.

FAQ about the SEND Advice Service
What does the SEND Advice Service offer?
The SEND Advice Service at Skylarks offers free, impartial support and information in relation to the education needs of children and young people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
We advise on all aspects of education, such as EHCPs, home to school transport, how to request a school, annual reviews of EHCPs, how to request an EHC Needs Assessment and more besides. Please refer to our Menu of services,
this is not exhaustive as we aim to be as flexible as possible in the help we offer.
The vast majority of cases are dealt with in-house by the SEND Advice Service. But, a small number are referred to Fiona Slomovic from AMC Ltd
commissioned by Skylarks. An appointment will need to be made with Skylarks SEND Advice Service first, and if we feel further input is required we will refer the case for a 30 minute advice session with Fiona. Please note, Fiona does not provide support beyond this through Skylarks. All further work required will be carried out by the SEND Advice Service subject to availability.
Unfortunately, we do not normally provide representation for appeals to the SEND First Tier Tribunal, other than general advice on how to apply yourself or where you can get further help if you need it.
Your query may be answered by clicking on 'Book an online workshop
' to join one of our regular webinars. Or refer to our information page
to see our FAQ & Fact sheets about key topics, as well as useful links to other helpful websites. If your query requires a 1:1 appointment please follow the instructions below.
Do I have to pay?
In order to ensure our services are accessible to all of those who need it, we do not charge and do not restrict by geographical area. However, the work required is often time consuming and requires a high level of specialist knowledge. As a small, independent charity we rely on donations to be able to continue to provide this highly valuable service and we therefore appreciate any donations
you can give.
