Welcome to Skylarks! We are an independent charity offering a range of activities for children with additional needs, their siblings and parents/carers, both online and face-to-face. We run sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays in term time at the Crossway Centre in Twickenham. We also offer other activities in a variety of locations and via Zoom on other days and during the holidays. You can book all our activities via the What's On section of our website. Please register with us by clicking the purple REGISTER button in the top right corner. You will then be able to access our activities and receive our weekly e-newsletter. Our activities are open to families who have children with any additional needs from anywhere and are free of charge. We look forward to welcoming YOU!
Skylarks is an independent Richmond upon Thames-based charity that provides activities and therapies for children with disabilities and additional needs. We also support and provide therapies, courses and information for their whole families.
You do not need a diagnosis or referral to join us and, whilst we are based in Richmond upon Thames, there are no geographical limitations for our members. Anyone from anywhere is welcome!
We provide the environment for children with additional needs and their siblings to build lasting relationships, while also offering them the opportunity to grow and develop together through play, activities and therapies.
We provide information and support for families and carers, all under one roof and at the same time. We offer a range of workshops, therapies and support groups, or simply a listening ear over a hot drink.
