Richmond National Autistic Society (NAS) is hosting some get togethers for parents of children with autism or on the social communication pathway via Zoom during lockdown.
This is an open forum and there will be parent members of the National Autistic Society Richmond present to listen to any concerns you have around supporting children and young adults with autism spectrum conditions. As with the coffee mornings we usually run, NAS Richmond will be there to ensure people feel included and are able to support one another. All are welcome wherever you live.
The first coffee evening is on Tuesday 23rd June
The second online coffee evening will be on Tuesday 18th August.
The times of the event are from 8pm to 9.30pm. Please do not worry if you are late - you can join at any time.
The Zoom link will be sent to you in advance, usually the day before.
This session is aimed at adults and we encourage you to find a quiet place where you won’t be overheard or disturbed. However we understand that you have your children at home with you and that this may not always be possible. Please be aware of the safety of your children during our live sessions.
While you are taking part in a Skylarks live online session, you are responsible for your child/ren's safety. Please make sure your child/ren are fully dressed in case they walk into the room.
You must not record, photograph or video any Skylarks live online sessions
You must not share any Zoom passwords.
If you are concerned about any other child or parent who is part of the group, please contact a member of Skylarks staff.
