Anything is possible with Ballet & Steven McRae!
We’re absolutely delighted to announce an exclusive Skylarks masterclass experience with the incredible Steven McRae, Principal Dancer of The Royal Ballet and author of “Anything is Possible with Ballet.”
Steven will be joining us to lead two special ballet masterclasses for Skylarks’ children and young people with additional needs, bringing his passion, creativity, and message of possibility to life through movement, music, and fun!
Masterclasses:
Dates & Locations
Monday 1st December – Skylarks Hounslow (Inwood Road, TW3 1XA)
Tuesday 2nd December – Skylarks Richmond (The Crossway Centre, 306 Richmond Road, Twickenham TW1 2PZ)
There will be 2 sessions at each location:
4.00 - 4.45pm Children aged 5 - 10
5.00 - 5.45pm Young people aged 11 - 17
Each inclusive workshop will welcome 12-15 children and young people, supported by our wonderful Skylarks team and SEND performing arts coaches - making sure everyone can take part and shine
Plus, our friends at Magic Cat Publishing are kindly providing 50 free copies of Steven’s inspiring new book “Anything is Possible with Ballet,” which Steven will personally sign on the day! These are available to participants on the day, one copy per family.
Please only book one session and please book in each child who would like to attend.
Please note: parents must stay on the premises and are responsible for their own children.
Preparation sessions:
To help prepare for this event, we will offer 2 introductory workshops as follows:
Tuesday 25th November 4 - 4.45pm – Skylarks Richmond (The Crossway Centre, 306 Richmond Road, Twickenham TW1 2PZ)
Thursday 27th November 4-5pm – Skylarks Hounslow (Inwood Road, TW3 1XA)
These are for all ages 5-17
This is a good way for your child to find out more about what the Masterclass with Steven McRae will involve, to get to know Cassie from Knots Arts and her team and to feel comfortable with our environment.
We can’t wait to share this magical experience with our Skylarks families.
