'Angry Ant' Anger Management
Controlling angry feelings is challenging for children who have learning difficulties / disabilities. The struggles they experience in everyday life - for example, due to communication and sensory differences - may lead to feelings of frustration and anger. This exploratory group provides a fun, natural atmosphere where children can develop a better understanding of their feelings and learn strategies to better manage anger. Children attending this group should demonstrate angry outbursts on a fairly regular basis.
Parents will be asked to complete Pictologue registration documents beforehand and a pre-group consultation will be scheduled. If you do not do this in time, your child may not be able to take part.
