Pictologue Play Therapy sessions for 8 - 11 year olds
Specifically designed for children with an ASC (autism) diagnosis
We are delighted to be working with Pictologue who will be providing their Play Therapy ToyBox programme for Skylarks which has been funded by The Hampton Fund. This is the first of three courses (one each term) run for children with an ASC (autism/ASD) diagnosis. There will also be 3 courses run for children with learning difficulties / other disabilities which are non ASC related. These groups are designed and led by a qualified Play Therapist and supported by Therapy Assistants. Pictologue is a children's charity for better communication

‘Feelings Friends’ - Emotional regulation and expression
Emotional self-regulation is the ability to adjust behaviour in situations that may evoke emotions such as stress, anxiety, anger, and frustration. The goal of self-regulation is to gain control over our emotions and behaviour in order to act in our best interest in the long run. This therapy group is designed to help children improve their emotional regulation and expression using creative interventions.
Parents will be asked to complete Pictologue registration documents beforehand and a pre-group consultation will be scheduled. If these are not completed in time, your child may not be able to take part.
