We plan to open for face-to-face services at the Crossway Centre after the Easter holidays on 20th April. We are currently offering outdoor activities in the Easter holidays. We will continue to offer a wide range of services online.

Online Life Skills session for Early Years: Feeling Brave When We’re Apart

Run by Role Models
We are pleased to offer some Early Years sessions from Role Models. These sessions are aimed at children aged 4 and 5 and are designed to help your child develop their confidence, feelings, ideas or mindset.
There are 4 sessions and your child is welcome to join in all 4 or just 1 or 2, as you see appropriate.
The sessions are:
Tuesday 6th April – Try Try Try again
Saturday 10th April – Feeling Brave When We’re Apart
Sunday 11th April – The Power of Friendship
Tuesday 13th April – Together We Can

Learn how to feel brave when you’re away from those you love. Find out about the magic piece of string that keeps us connected! This session explores how to work through the feeling of worrying. Perfect for those starting nursery/school or for getting used to being away from parent/carer.

These sessions are interactive; your child will join a small group of other children led by an experienced and energetic Role Model. Parents and carers are expected to stay with their child for the session but encourage them to participate independently. The session includes confidence building games, a story, a drawing activity and the children get to meet Marvellous Mo the Monkey!
