FROM SEPTEMBER 2020 WE ARE OFFERING MUSIC THERAPY AGAIN IN A COVID-SECURE ENVIRONMENT. THIS MEANS THAT THE CLASS SIZE IS NOW LIMITED TO 2 FAMILIES. EACH FAMILY WILL HAVE THEIR OWN SET OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. ANY COMMUNAL INSTRUMENTS WILL BE CLEANED BETWEEN USES.
EACH FAMILY IS REQUESTED TO ONLY BOOK ONE OR TWO MUSIC THERAPY SESSIONS AND TO LEAVE SPACE FOR OTHER FAMILIES.
ALL ADULTS WILL WEAR MASKS, WE WILL ENCOURAGE SOCIAL DISTANCING.
EVERYONE WILL WASH OR SANITISE THEIR HANDS BEFORE ENTERING THE BUILDING AND BEFORE LEAVING.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE TAKEN USING A DIGITAL CONTACTLESS THERMOMETER.

4.15 – 4.35
4.35 – 4.55
4.55 – 5.15
Edison qualified as a Music Therapist at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama completing a Department of Health approved Diploma in Music Therapy ( SRAsT(M) and also is registered with the HCPC ( Health and Care Professions Council). Edison works for the Otakar Kraus Music Trust with children and adults with a wide range of conditions. He has many years of experience as a music therapist and teacher and is the Music Director at the Otakar Kraus Music Trust. He has developed the IRP technique, a unique teaching method which has achieved great success in schools in England, India and Brazil.
