Informal Information and advice with Skylarks Staff
You are very welcome to come for a chat (or have a phone call) with one of our members of staff. We have members of staff who have experience and knowledge about certain conditions or areas of support.
Many parents benefit from having a chat with our employee Susie who was an active member of the committee of the Richmond Branch of the National Autistic Society for 20 years.
You can come on a Tuesday afternoon between 2 and 3pm.
There are 2 slots:
*Please book in advance*
Tuesday appointments can be face-to-face at the Crossway Centre or on the telephone.
*If you are unable to talk to us on a Tuesday, please let us know and we will try and accommodate you by phone on a Friday morning*
IMPORTANT: WHEN BOOKING, PLEASE SPECIFY IN THE NOTES SECTION WHETHER YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR APPOINTMENT IN PERSON OR BY PHONE. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF YOU COULD SPECIFY THE TOPICS YOU WOULD LIKE TO TALK THROUGH, SUCH AS ACTIVITIES, SUPPORT, COUNSELLING, APPROACHES TO AUTISM, SIBLING SUPPORT.
Please note this is for adults only - no children. We cannot look after your child before 3pm. If you would like to attend with your child, please book one of our play sessions which start at 3pm. You can still have a chat with a member of staff while your child plays.
Information Stand
We also have an INFORMATION STAND in reception every Tuesday afternoon and are always happy to talk to you whilst your child is attending one of the activities, if you would like any information, support, advice or signposting.
PLEASE NOTE: SUSIE DOES NOT GIVE ADVICE ABOUT EDUCATION, SCHOOLS OR EHCP's. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ADVICE ON THESE TOPICS PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH OUR SEND EDUCATION ADVICE SERVICE
HERE.OR WE CAN SIGNPOST TO OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHICH OFFER SEND ADVICE.
