You are very welcome to come for a chat (or have a phone call) with one of our members of staff. We have members of staff who have experience and knowledge about certain conditions or areas of support. Many parents benefit from having a chat with our employee Susie who was an active member of the committee of the Richmond Branch of the National Autistic Society for 20 years.
You can come on a Tuesday afternoon between 2 and 3pm. There are 2 slots: one from 2 - 2.30pm and one from 2.30 - 3pm. Please book in advance. Tuesday appointments are face-to-face at the Crossway Centre.
You can also come on a Friday morning between 10am and 12 noon. There are 2 slots: one from 10 - 11am and one from 11 - 12 noon. Please book in advance. Friday appointments can be face-to-face at the Crossway Centre or by telephone. Susie may also be able to talk to you by telephone at other times by arrangement. PLEASE SPECIFY IN THE NOTES SECTION WHETHER YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR APPOINTMENT IN PERSON OR BY PHONE.
Please note this is for adults only - no children.
If you would like to attend with your child, please book one of our play sessions. You can still have an informal chat with a member of staff while your child plays.
We also have an INFORMATION STAND in reception every Tuesday afternoon (and some Fridays) and are always happy to chat to you whilst your child is attending one of the activities if you would like any information, support or signposting.
IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF YOU COULD SPECIFY THE TOPICS YOU WOULD LIKE TO TALK THROUGH, SUCH AS ACTIVITIES, SUPPORT, COUNSELLING, APPROACHES TO AUTISM, SIBLING SUPPORT. PLEASE NOTE: SUSIE DOES NOT GIVE ADVICE ABOUT EDUCATION, SCHOOLS OR EHCP's. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ADVICE ON THESE TOPICS PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH OUR SEND EDUCATION ADVICE SERVICE
