Run by
Skylarks staff and volunteers
We have been invited by the Mayor of Richmond to take part in the Lord Mayor of London's New Year's Day Parade, so why not come along and join us
on Friday 1st January 2027
most of the day, times tbc
Everyone is welcome to sing along with us.
We will have an open-topped red double decker Routemaster bus which will be decorated and move through the streets of London with our supporters dressed up in costumes and either in the bus or walking/wheeling beside it. We hope there may be horses, music bands, dancing etc.
This is a huge televised and fun event with a large audience around the world, plus a chance of a cash prize!
Here is some information on the event:
Location: Central London. We will all travel up by bus together and return together to/from York House in Twickenham. There will be free parking at York House so you can either leave your car there or we can arrange a taxi home for you.
Let’s spread joy, celebrate the borough of Richmond, and make this a magical day together.
