SEND Reforms: First look and what’s next

The SEND Reform White Paper is here. Do you know how it affects your family?

Join us for briefings, both F2F and online, where we break down the SEND Reform White Paper. We are sharing our initial views and, more importantly, discussing what families need to know right now to prepare for the road ahead.

Chiswick House Garden Session

Run by Chiswick House and Garden

Chiswick HOUSE Kitchen Garden Session  - EASTER HOLIDAYS 2026

Our friends at Chiswick House have invited us to their beautiful grounds for a relaxed play and activity session. As it is the Easter holidays, we will be following an Easter and spring theme! Bring your children and spend time in the lovely garden of this historic house and take part in some other activities too.

Tuesday 31st March - Easter Egg hunt
and
Friday 10th April - scavenger hunt and clay activity

Fair Access Policy: please only book ONE of our activities this Easter holidays (Holly Lodge or Chiswick House). If you are interested in the other activity, please put your name on the waiting list HERE and we will contact you if there are spaces.

On Tuesday 31st March we are also being given access to Chiswick House's own Easter trail. This optional extended trail will take your family across the grounds to find more Easter themed goodies. With thanks to Chiswick House for giving this to our families free of charge. We will also have creative art activities inspired by the beauty of nature.

On Friday 10th April we will be able to take part in clay based activities. Families are invited to make an artwork inspired by nature, which will later be fired in a kiln and will form part of the new Learning Yard planters in the gardens at Chiswick House. This is suitable for all the family and will take place in the Learning Centre in 3 groups at 11, 12 and 1pm. You can sign up to take part in these workshops when you arrive on a first come first served basis, but we hope there should be space for everyone who wishes to take part in this activity. The Learning Centre will not therefore be available for you to eat your picnic in on this date.

Our SEND Education Advisers Jonathan Rourke and Gemma Smith will also be available to speak to parents about schools, education and EHCP's. Please book this here: https://www.skylarks.charity/activity/773/send-advice-at-chiswick-house

Join us in the Kitchen Garden for a fun-packed time. We have access to the Learning Centre in case the weather is not so good and there are accessible toilets. Please note: this activity is mainly outside so please dress suitably.

Do feel free to bring a picnic if you would like to. You also have access to the rest of the grounds to wander around in your own time
