Skylarks is pleased to host the new Hounslow Family Support Group for parents of children with additional needs.
Taking place at The Crossway Centre, this group is led by Aldona from Hounslow Parent Carers Forum.
The aim of this group is to support parent-carers and enable them to meet each other, share information and ideas and meet other parent-carers who also live in the borough of Hounslow. We may also invite speakers from other Hounslow organisations to keep families informed.
This group is meeting 'in real life' at our sessions at the Crossway Centre. We will socially distance as much as possible, parents are encouraged to wear a mask or face covering unless they are talking and we will open windows and doors as much as possible to allow air to flow freely. Please take a lateral flow test before you come.
Your child is welcome to go into the Stay and Play session while you attend the support group (subject to us having enough staff and volunteers on the day). Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like a place in the creche.
You are also welcome to book an appointment with Alka from RUILS Family Matters who will be in the centre at the same time. She can give 1:1 advice on a range of issues, such as Respite care, social activities, behaviour, sleep, benefits, social services and more You can book an appointment with her here
