How to book an appointment with the SEND Advice Service:
- Book your 45 minute face to face meeting with Michaela Eggleston (SEND Advice Service Manager) taking place at the Crossway Centre, Twickenham , TW1 2PD (details on how to find us are here ) on alternate Tuesday afternoons (2.30-5.30pm) and Fridays (10am-12pm) during term time. Please note, due to the lack of available space at the centre, we may not be able to offer you a private space for the 1:1 session. If this is an issue you may instead wish to book a 1:1 appointment via Zoom or phone call via this link.
- If you making an appointment about a new query (one the SEND Advice Service is not already working on) please also complete a 'New request for 1:1 advice' form to set up a SEND advice case in the child/young persons name. From there you will be able to upload documents, see updates and message the SEND Advice Service (instructions on how to do all of that are here).
- A confirmation email will be sent from your SEND Advice case within 3 working days via the email address email@example.com (please check your spam folder). The confirmation message will also be visible on your SEND Advice case (log on to Skylarks website and click on 'My SEND Advice cases' in the top right corner).
- Alternatively, you can book a 30 minute phone or Zoom video call available throughout the week via this link.
What does the SEND Advice service do?
The SEND Advice Service at Skylarks offers free, impartial support and information in relation to the education needs of children and young people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We advise on all aspects of education, such as EHCPs, home to school transport, how to request a school, annual reviews of EHCPs, how to request an EHC Needs Assessment and more besides.

Unfortunately, we do not provide representation for appeals to the SEND First Tier Tribunal, other than general advice on how to apply yourself or where you can get help if you need it.

Do I have to pay?
In order to ensure our services are accessible to all of those who need it, we do not charge and do not restrict by geographical area. However, the work required is often time consuming and requires a high level of specialist knowledge. As a small, independent charity we rely on donations to be able to continue to provide this highly valuable service and we therefore appreciate any donations
you can give.
