St Mary’s University and Skylarks multi sports session
We are pleased to be able to offer a multi-sports sessions in the holidays in partnership with St Mary’s University
These are for children aged 5 to 12 with any additional needs or disabilities.
This activity is suitable for children who do not require any extra support. There will be a Skylarks staff member/volunteer on site to help children to engage and to be their point of contact as needed.
Priority will be given to children with disabilities but there may be space for siblings too. Please express an interest for brothers and sisters and we will let you know nearer the time if they can join in.
DATE - FRIDAY 14th APRIL
TIME - 9am - 3pm (registration opens at 8.30am
*Please provide a packed lunch for your child. Snacks and drinks WILL NOT be provided by Sports St Mary's*
When this activity is full, a waiting list will be opened which you will be able to book on to.
SIMMSport (St Mary's University) says:
"Our multi-sport camps provide an enriching, inclusive and welcoming environment where children of all abilities can try a range of sports and activities.
Up to 15 different sports are delivered every week to ensure there is a great variety in activities and everyone has the chance to try something new and fun!
Camps take place using our world-class facilities including the Sir Mo Farah Athletics Track, grass pitches, and new sports centre. Children are coached by our team of qualified coaches and can choose to attend individual days or sign up for the full camp."
During the multi-sport camps children experience a mixture of games, group coaching and individual skills. Sports & activities include:

Sessions will take place throughout our indoor and outdoor facilities , so please bring multiple thin layers to be worn as necessary. Please bring sun cream or raincoat, depending on the weather. You will also need to provide a packed lunch for your child.

St Mary's University, Sport St Mary’s, Waldegrave Road, Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, TW1 4SX.
Walking from Strawberry Hill station to St Mary's
St Mary's is a five minute walk from Strawberry Hill station. Turn left when you leave the station, then walk past Premier Wine and the Post Office on your left and take the second road on your right, which is Waldegrave Gardens. At the end of Waldegrave Gardens, turn right onto Waldegrave Road and St Mary's main reception is on your left.
Bus
From Richmond-upon-Thames
You can catch the R68 towards Hampton Court from a bus stop just outside Richmond station. Get off at the Twickenham, King Street stop and then take the 33 towards Fulwell. Get off at the ‘St Mary's University’ stop, which is just outside of St Mary’s main reception. From Twickenham or Teddington
The 33 heading towards Fulwell stops on Richmond Road and York Street in Twickenham. The 33 heading towards Hammersmith stops on Stanley Road and Broad Street (Teddington High Street) in Teddington.
