Kew Gardens - family visit to Gruffalo trail

Who is hiding in Kew's deep dark wood? Unleash your inner detective to find out what creatures live in our woodland.

Take part in a woodland trail to find the Gruffalo this autumn.

We are delighted to have been offered some free tickets to Kew Gardens this autumn so that families can attend independently their new Gruffalo trail.

Each ticket is for one family group or bubble of up to 6 people. You may book ONCE to attend this event. Please choose one date from the list of dates available.

You will not be sent tickets but your name will be on the list of expected visitors at each of the gates. Just take a form of ID with you. You do not need to book a time slot but can visit at any time during opening hours. Please note it may be quite busy, so allow plenty of time for parking and you may have to queue to enter the trail.

Pick up your trail pack and get set for an adventure.

Follow footprints, marks and feathers and figure out clues on our family-friendly trail.

Discover the secret world of plants and animals, what marks they leave behind, and how their lives are interconnected. Keep your eyes peeled to spot the Gruffalo himself... Oh help, oh no - it's the Gruffalo!

Kew Gardens requests that families follow the most up to date Government Covid-19 guidance throughout their visit.

Visiting during Coronavirus, check out the website for more details https://www.kew.org/kew-gardens/visit-kew-gardens/coronavirus-guidance
