Fathers’ Day and International Yoga Day
Sunday 21st June 10.30am-12 midday online
Dads - we want to treat and celebrate all that you are and all that you do!
So here’s our gift. After you’ve been brought your morning brew switch off with some mindful moves, helping you to feel great for the rest of your day.
One of Bristol’s most popular yoga teachers, Rory Viggers and father of two youngsters, has kindly offered to lead you through a live class accessible for every level. Rory has a breadth and wealth of experience, inspired by many systems of hatha yoga, martial arts and radical minds.
So skip the huffing and puffing with Joe Wicks that day and join in for what will be a welcomed opportunity to unwind, loosen and reconnect with yourself and an inspiring yoga teacher.
If you are a runner or a cyclist, this is a good opportunity to stretch out your hamstrings. If you are a desk-bound dad then this session can help with your stiff lower back or neck muscles. Or if you are just in need of little bit of peace and quiet and some special time for yourself, then this could be the ideal treat you deserve!
After the class, put the kettle on for a coffee so you can meet and chat with other Skylarks dads, amongst whom will be some of our fabulous and committed parent trustees.
Book in and experience the amazing and many benefits of yoga, marking Fathers' Day with this 5,000 year old practice with others, as you’re all incredibly valued!
If you can, have a yoga mat handy or if not, some comfortable flooring and plenty of space round you. Wear loose sports clothing and have bare feet.
Class will be live via zoom so please download this ahead and we’ll send you the link on booking. If you have any questions then please contact: Sona@skylarks.charity
