THE COFFEE MORNING ON FRIDAY 14TH JUNE WILL BE FOCUSING ON SCHOOLS. WE WILL HAVE A VISITOR FROM ORCHARD HILL ACADEMY TRUST WHO WILL BE TALKING ABOUT THEIR PLANS TO OPEN A NEW SPECIAL SCHOOL IN KINGSTON AND THEN ONE IN RICHMOND. THEY WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM PARENTS ABOUT WHAT OUR CHILDREN NEED.
If you have a child who has been diagnosed with autism or who you have been told is on the pathway or who you suspect may be on the spectrum, please come to the National Autistic Society coffee mornings at Me too & Co. Everyone is welcome. Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided. Please just turn up any time between 10.30am and 12 midday and stay for as long as you are able. Places may be available in our creche downstairs: please email email@example.com if you would like us to look after your child while you attend this support group.
The NAS coffee mornings are an opportunity for people to have a chat, share tips and information in an informal, supportive environment support with others who really ‘get’ autism.
The Richmond branch of the NAS has also produced a very useful information pack, which is available at Me too & Co and you can also download:
Parents and carers from any borough are welcome. Please just turn up and come and meet some friendly faces.
