While Skylarks was not affected by Tier 2, 3 or 4 restrictions and continued to operate from the Crossway Centre in a Covid-compliant manner, we have unfortunately had to close from January 2021. We continue to offer a wide range of services online and are working to introduce more virtual activities. We will re-open for face-to-face services as soon as it is safe to do so.

Welcare Advice and Guidance Clinics at Skylarks

Welcare Advice and Guidance Clinics at Skylarks

We are delighted to collaborate with Welcare, a registered charity which supports families. Welcare is a Christian organisation working across South London and East Surrey, supporting people of all faiths and none. Skylarks families from any borough are welcome to use this service.

Welcare offers a range of practical and emotional support and advice services, focusing on preventative work and life skills development. Welcare works to help and support to strengthen families who are experiencing difficulties by providing non-judgemental advice and guidance, helping to empower families to overcome any challenges they face.

Workers from Welcare hold regular clinics at Skylarks sessions on Friday mornings, where parents can book an appointment to ask questions and get independent information and advice. They have knowledge and expertise on a range of subjects including social care, rights and responsibilities, social services, family breakdown, domestic violence, benefits and social housing.

Debbie from Welcare offers 1:1 appointments for parent/carers who live in the any borough at our sessions on occasional Fridays at 09.30, 10.20 and 11.15.
